A primary aim of the BMAP symposium series is to promote interdisciplinary brain and mind research in the Asia-Pacific and to bring together top researchers and clinicians in the field to share discoveries and explore new areas of collaboration in neuroscience. The series was launched in 2006 at the Brain and Mind Research Institute of the University of Sydney.

This year’s topics include:

  • Genetics and neuroimaging
  • Cognitive neuroscience
  • Clinical neuroscience

  • Developmental Neuroscience

BMAP has been timed to allow delegates to also attend two major conferences in the South Island of New Zealand: the Australasian Winter Conference on Brain Research in Queenstown on 26-31 of August, and the New Zealand Medical Sciences Congress (MedSciNZ) in Nelson on 29-31 of August.
