I use my brain to… 2017 art competition for Australian primary schools
- 13-24th March 2017
Your local primary school
Create a brainy masterpiece and win great prizes for you and your school!
How does your brain help you to hear a conversation in a noisy room? How does it control your foot when you kick a ball? Or create images, conversations, and sounds in your dreams?
At the ARC Centre of Excellence for Integrative Function or Brain Function CoE, we think those sorts of questions are interesting and lots of fun to think about and investigate.
But we also want to know what you think about how the brain works. And we want you to show us by creating an artwork inspired by completing the thought: ‘I use my brain to…’
Download the art competition brochure and don’t forget to share it with your friends, school and family.
The competition is part of Brain Awareness Week, which runs 13-19 March 2017 around the world to increase public awareness of brain research. The Brain Awareness Week website has numerous educational resources available for brain-related activities.
